A Big Whoo Hoo for the Truth

Whoo Hoo!

I've never used that exclaimation. I see it used for sports teams, but the TRUTH deserves a big "Whoo Hoo!"

Jesus prayed in John 17 that we would be sanctified by Your (the Father's) Truth, His Word is Truth. I love that.

Thank you James for this word, but mostly for living out the content. I have been a "follower" of James MacDonald (as he follows Christ) for more years than I care to count - more than 10. The thing that drew me to listen to WITW radio and to buy his books was his faithfulness to the Word. That's the thing that keeps me listening and reading his stuff. It's not about what James MacD has to say, it's about the Word.

I am determined to be that kind of preacher. I want to be known for nothing, but God's Word to be the "star of the show" because it is His revelation of Himself. When I preach, I want people to be able to look into the text and clearly see my outline - not a creation that I imposed on the text, but the points and subpoints that God breathed into the text.

I am fired up today! GO TRUTH! May God sanctify us by His Truth!
